Unrated. Has a current offer from CU, which while being a dumpster fire would allow him to stay on the west coast. Not to say we couldn't sway him, he has phenomenal size and good lifting stats. He looks like a Tackle convert really.

Boulder is the same distance from the west coast as Ames is from the Gulf of Mexico.

Perhaps he meant that basically every road game would land him out west, giving his family more opportunity to watch him play. That's kind of how I took it.
Precisely. He would play about half his games within striking distance of his family. That being said, Rhoads should be able to sell well if our only competition is CU. How many OL are we looking at this year?

I was watching this kid for a while, thinking that CPR might want to add size at the corner opposite Tribune for next year. Looks like he's already set up an official visit!

He has been blowing up lately. It would be a steal to get him. Great to see that the staff is getting him to visit, likely means we're at least in his top 25.

Another name to keep an eye on is Devine Ozigbo. He will be announcing his decision July 22nd and has reported 20+ offers. Iowa State is in his top according to twitter.

Trey has the scoop on Ozigbo, pretty cool actually. Ayeni will have earned his paycheck if we land him, coming in late against the schools offering him.

Looks like Iowa is the heavy favorite for Ozigbo.

Where are you seeing that? You may be right because he fits their big bruising RB type but I haven't seen anything about a favorite. It may be a toss up between Iowa schools

Trey Scott feels pretty confident a few days ago that it may be ISU.

The last three predictions all in July have him going to the Hawks. They have been recruiting him for awhile now and he said they were on the top of his list after his visit.

But he may pick the clones. ISU suprised him on his visit I do remember that.

I won't say ISU is necessarily the favorite for Ozigbo, but Trey certainly thinks ISU is one of the few schools being looked at the hardest.

Ya thats the way I meant to phrase it. Iowa is not really the "leader" for him. He would be able to play as a freshman in Ames.

ISU is definitely in his top few. Some of the schools on his list he hasn't even visited and I'm not sure are even recruiting him that hard anymore.

Ozigbo had a great visit in Ames after his Iowa City visit. Would be an awesome get. I believe Mangino will want a power-style runner. His best year at KU had Brandon McAnderson who gained over 1,100 yards. He was a bruising 5'11" 235 lb fullback-type.

If we get Ozigbo & Demond Tucker (DT from same JC where LB Harris played), I would be beyond ecstatic. Go get em Coach Rhoads, Coach Burnham & Coach Ayeni!!!

The reason people were saying that (Iowa the heavy favorite) is after his IC visit, there were rumors that he was possibly going to commit after the visit. It was a big weekend in IC, and a lot of visitors. A few kids committed, and a couple almost did. He was rumored to be one of them. But after his visit to Ames, who knows.
