The new position coach Maurice Linquist is recruiting thoroughbreds from the Atlanta area. Someone on this site posted the wisdom of recruiting all the D1 talent in Georgia because of the direct flights from ATL to DM. Seems like CPR is doing just that. You can see Maurice's list of Ga. recruits on the Rivals site.

You guys offered Bryce Meeker as well. I was wondering when Iowa or Isu would offer the kid. The 2015 class for O-line could be very good in the state of Iowa. Paulson boys, Newborg, Meeker, Good-Jones, Waechter...curious to see where all these boys end up? How many O-lineman are you all taking this year? I think the Hawks end up offering Waechter personally.

Thought I read somewhere that Iowa was not offering anymore O lineman for 2015. If true would wager we have a good shot at Meeker. We have only made 3 Instate offers right? Meeker, Nerness and Nelson. Seems really low for instate offers but I like all 3. They seem to be taking their time with offensive offers this year though compared to last year when we already had a ton of commits in June. Seems like Mangino has a different approach.

Iowa is taking one more OL recruit. A lot of the big offers are long shots, but Edwards the 6'6" athlete seems like a possiblity. If they fall through I could see one of them getting an offer.

He is a big hawk fan. He wore a Kinnick shirt to Trice. Also a legit D-1 basketball prospect. My guess is if Iowa doesn't offer (in either sport) we have a decent chance at him for football. No way Fred would offer.

His dad played at Iowa and I believe was all conference there too or something like that. Knows Allen Lazard pretty well through AAU basketball.
