So does Robertson commit elsewhere tonight or tomorrow morning?

Kidding (hopefully). Nice find, Messi. Does Naz have one more assist in him?

We need a scorer. Let's offer to play "O, Canada" before every game.

They also had one kid who eerily reminded me of Georges... he was like 6'7" and had a killer spin/hook shot. Can't remember his name right now, though.

If you are talking about OU player with decent post moves and a hook shot, you might be referring to Jamuni McNeace. Did not play a lot and inconsistent, but good post moves and foot work (a la Niang).

Yup that's the kid.

The times I watched when he was in there he impressed me with his footwork in the post, and his hook shot.

Shayok is from Ontario, curious if Kassius and Marial know each other They don't appear to have played in the same HS but could have AAU connections.
Would be an excellent target for Prohm, though until I hear of a visit being set I'll reserve my excitement.

Speaking of Canada, the Syracuse board has this on McIntosh and Robertson:

I think Mykile McIntosh would be a great fit as well. Like a homerun. He would look great in that power small forward role similar to how we used CJ Fair. He was a Grassroots Canada kid who went lower than his offers. He could ABSOLUTELY play at this level. The only thing I wonder here is if his skill set is redundant with Oshae already coming to town. Similar players. No clue who's handling Mykile's recruitment since the core of guys who ran Grassroots when he was in high school have since drifted apart.

Kassius Robertson is one of my favourite kids. I used to watch him work out once a week with a group that often included Duane Notice, Kevin Pangos, Stefan Jankovic... Always admired the speed and intensity he trained with. To be honest I never thought he was good enough to play at this level but his production at the lower level speaks for itself. He would be great in the zone and has turned himself into a very effective catch and shoot player who can also get to the rim. Can he run offense in the ACC? Not sure. Can't say I've seen a lot of Canisius games in last two years. And with HW already in the fold, I'm not sure we need more depth in the rotation. We need a bonfied ACC starting point guard. I think the world of this kid but am not sure he's that. Would be personally excited to see him in Orange, but I'm sick of the bubble. We could use a thoroughbred. Not sure how likely it is we land one, but it's what we need.

Kassius Robertson shot over 40% on 239 3Ps and over a .600 3PA rate. Combine that with a 22% usage and it backs the catch and shoot mentioned on the 'Cuse board. That's very Naz Long like numbers, with a slightly higher FTA rate.

It looks as though he's only played two high major teams (Kentucky last year and Penn State the year before), shooting 3-16 on 3Ps.

Right now, I'd say if Beverly is in, I want a shooter. I don't really care if he can do much else. I mean, I'd like him to do everything but if we could add a guy that can shoot somewhere around 40%, that'd be great.

Cyclone Basketball account just followed Kassius too. Recent follows include Morrow, Shayok, Kyler Edwards (2018 kid) and Race Thompson (2018 kid)

So safe to say they reserve their follows for serious targets.

I'm hoping we can land Thorpe, but yeah. Get a shooter, at least. With these contingencies it's imperative the staff put together complementary assets.

Fingers crossed that Beverly shoots closer to his freshman average and can be an occasional playmaker. Bowie would have been next year.
Back when a ball handling forward like Juiston was in play, the thought of adding Brase to team with him had some appeal. If we miss on our redshirt guys, grab him to keep the lane open.
