Surly thinks players are property.
Dear God man, dont encourage him to start any threads. If you want to discuss your disdain with transfers please start your own thread
The claim that the whole program was built on JUCO's is absurd, that was my point in posting a few names of real stars at K-State. JUCO transfers are not the same. Naturally, JUCO's finish at four-year schools. What's happening today in MBB is four-year to four-year, and it's problematic on multiple levels. Worthy of discussion
Google "Hyperbole".Tyler Lockett, Darren Sproles, Jordy Nelson, Collin Klein, Terence Newman, Dalton Risner, Cody Whitehair all asked me to say hello this morning.
Soooo and a lot of post graduate degrees are attained from a different university than the under grad degrees. What is the difference with the grad transfers to the JUCO transfer?
No, you stop...coming here. Please stop conflating JUCO's, who obviously finish at four-year schools, with what's happening in college hoops today.
You guys, I'm trying to abstain from this thread, it's Good Friday after all and I'm Catholic.
That said, the primary difference between JUCO, as if you didn't know, and grad transfers is that JUCOs can't finish their 4-year degree in a community college, so they must transfer to a 4-year school. While grad transfers have taken everything from their school of origin and including their best year of eligibility. I just find that troubling.
But now we have all these youngsters moving from school-to-school in the transfer portal - freshman, sophomores, and juniors - which is fine as long as they sit a year.
As for Austin Trice, great athlete, but not a B12 caliber dude.

Hate to point out your errors in thinking but I will. A juco transfer must transfer, period, we agree on that. A 4 year graduate also must transfer to another college, it can be in the same University or a different one but it is a different college. The thought is that it is better for the student to transfer to another University he gets a better education as he is exposed to different teachers etc. The only reason one might be opposed to it as that one cares only about yourself as a fan and not the student. That would be selfish and disgusting. You guys, I'm trying to abstain from this thread, it's Good Friday after all and I'm Catholic.

Or maybe he just sleeps with them LOLObviously, surly is paying players at KSU and doesn't want to see his investment pay off somewhere else.
For reals? That's awful nice and random by them. Tell them we said hello as well.Tyler Lockett, Darren Sproles, Jordy Nelson, Collin Klein, Terence Newman, Dalton Risner, Cody Whitehair all asked me to say hello this morning.
@GoodmanHoops Drexel’s 6-foot-9 Alihan Demir is transferring, source told @Stadium. Grad transfer who put up 14.8 points and 6.4 boards this past season. This one’s got high-major written all over it.
