I have a feeling that we'll see 3 Big 12 teams in the Elite 8. Which is a fantastic showing. I have no idea which 2 Big 12 teams will advance tomorrow, though.
Welp, of course the year ISU sucks the tournament implodes and is wide open. I think KU and one of the other two win to make it 3 of 8.
Would really love to see TT take down Purdue.
She'll be 50 in a few weeks.

I think Kansas and Tech will win tomorrow. Don’t think West Virginia is good enough for Villanova.
Kansas and Texas Tech. West Virginia has their hands full with Villanova, who is flat out excellent but a WVU win wouldn't be a total shocker.
That's what would be fun about it. It would be nice for a non blue blood to get it. IMO.
Has nothing to do with it surviving, the point is its good to see conference brethren do well because in 6 or 7 years, there is a good chance the Big 12 will be gone. So going to enjoy teams we have played for many years do well in this years tourney, with maybe the exception of Kansas, and maybe I will even pull for them.
Seems that way on paper for sure. Which means, of course, following patterns in this tournament, WVa will pull the upset. Probably by 20 points.
Earlier this week, Norlander at CBS sports did a column ranking the best/wildest first weekends of the tournament (he put 2018 at #3). With half of regional semifinal games in the books, we may be headed to one of the most-wacky second weekends, too.
His analysis is worth a read, an interesting look-back/recap. Ranking order could be debated, as most lists are --- I didn't get hung-up on that, I found it cool from a historical standpoint.

I did a couple of Second Chance Brackets on ESPN site. That busted faster than my original.
I really thought KSU was the least likely to advance. WVU could beat Villanova if the refs let them get physical on defense. If the refs let them play how they want, I think they could beat anyone. If they get the KSU refs, they'll be down to 4 players in the first half.
4 in the Elite 8 would be crazy considering how most of the conference seemed to be limping into the tourney with injuries and peaking in February.
Villanova would have to have a really bad day for that to happen. From what I've seen, that goes for them vs. most teams.
Nice win for KSU. I whiffed and said they were a marginal team earlier in this thread--must be doing something right.
Nice of Coach Cal and his team to leave the floor without shaking hands. Reinforces what I thought of them though.
