What is it about Marquette that all their transfers dislike it so much that they have to leave at semester?

I thought we were full for next year -- and that our first "shadow spot" might be for Tyler Harris rather than anybody on the transfer market?

ISU is full yes, but there’s been outgoing attrition at ISU every year since 2004. Maybe 2018 the year there won’t be.

Whether isu has room for a transfer or not, i enjoy the transfer season and seeing what kids are leaving what schools and where they end up.

Current scholarship # for the spring is 12. Granted that could cause some turmoil for next fall.

He’ll certainly have a good list of suitors. The Ivy League isn’t the Big 12 in terms of talent but 17/9 with 2 years to play is going to intrigue a lot of programs.
He was on a visit to Purdue for the Louisville game.

I wonder if “room” on a roster won’t be a limitation? If I recall correctly his mother is a major player in the healthcare business and is on the BoT of Dartmouth.

We have an open scholarship for 2nd semester, but we are full going into 2018-19 so it will be interesting to see if we get involved with Harris.

Tyree will be a junior next season but was non-committal about his future.

“Obviously, I’m keeping my options 100 percent open because, at the end of the day, I have to do what’s best for me," he said. "I came to Ole Miss to be a Rebel. I love the university. Depending on the coaches they bring in, I’ll definitely look in. I’m not saying I’m transferring, I’m not saying I'm staying. I’m just keeping my options open.”

Are we likely to grab anyone this off season? Prohm seems to focus a lot more effort on high school talent than adding through transfers. Granted we have picked up a few, but the emphasis is less on top transfers than in the Hoiberg years. Additionally the roster finally balances out a little bit better age wise once we add next years class.

If a scholarship opens up, I would be in favor of grabbing a high level sit out guard. This also assumes Tyler Harris is off the table which he may not be in a month. Obviously thinking v far in advance here but there's a possibility we could lose our entire starting back court after next year.
