With that height and weight. I am surprised Nick Saban is not all over him. I noticed our coaches are mainly going after a guard right now. So I am guessing we won't contact.

He would be an impact transfer for most program, I would expect the staff to make a call to see if there would be any interest. Prohm has said he is looking for the best talent to fill the scholly and they did contact Matt Moyer and were in his top 8 before committing to Vandy.
That said, his list of landing spots will be long and I am not sure how high ISU would rank on the list. I still say if your Prohm you reach out to see.

Braxton Key - Alabama
6-8 220lb forward

9.8 ppg 5.5 rpg 2.2 apg. Started 47 games at Alabama

Sit 1 play 2

Braxton Key has a really good handle and play making ability for a 6'8" guy. Can step out and shoot it some as well. I would think the staff reaches out with interest and gives it a shot if Nixon goes elsewhere.

Q: Who are your top choices as of now?

Reaves: Oklahoma, Northern Iowa, Michigan, Purdue, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas State and Texas Tech.

Reaves mentions Dillon Buchanan (along with his family) as advising him in the process. I see from a quick look at Buchanan's twitter bio that he is based out of Des Moines. Interesting. Believe Reaves is currently on a visit to Oklahoma and has UNI scheduled later this week.

Had ISU interest early. Him and nixon both sit 1 play 1. Think ISU got the better of the 2
