I hope we are past having to sign "sit one play one" transfers
Come again?
It rarely hurts to grab a Clyburn, Allen, Lucious, Shayok, or even White who was a 1-for-1.
As long as your other 12 do not comprise of a couple near the walkon level guys and an open spot, 1-for-1s are a great way to get high impact guys.

I disagree. You can get some good value in that market. Grad transfers are uber competitive now with all the blue bloods trying to fill holes left by early entries.

We pretty much have a 8-9 man rotation anyway. If we have 1-2 spots open up, I would prioritize a HS PG like Harris, followed by the best available sit out transfers.

Dikembe Dixon 6-7 200lb forward
from UI-Chicago

17.5 ppg 5.6 rpg and 1.3 apg

Sit 1 play 1

I wonder if he’ll be able to get a year back.

He’s a guy that I think the previous staff would have jumped on. He’s a bit like Nadar in that the potential is there for a mismatch, but at a lower level he’s been a very inefficient high usage guy. Is that inefficiency due to having to do too much now and he’ll get more effective and efficient as just another guy on a team full of his equals?

You see the KU game yesterday?
No, did Graham get outplayed by NWB again? Did he shoot better on 3Ps than the 1-7 against Iowa State? I sure hope not, given NWBs injury.

I know you saw the second, but did you see the first OU game? Graham went 4-19 including 1-9 on 3Ps. I wonder if KU fans were thinking “after watching Devonte Graham against a freshman last night, I miss having a PG that can hit a three.”

Perhaps if you wait long enough you’ll find a game in which your cherries are not sour.

Have seen on twitter Tyler Cook will transfer to Mizzou after the season. If he was on the open market and not restricted i would take him at ISU in a heartbeat but that would never happen.

none the less would be a HUGE blow to Iowa if true.

Is it just random people speculating, or credible people?

How could anyone believe this?.....like its going to be put out there now before the season is even over? Right.
Besides, the kid has been playing well most games and like a player that's all in with his team.
Not buying it for even a second. ( Somebody must think they're cute by starting that rumor on purpose, but I don't get what satisfaction they'd be getting from it.)

Yeah i should’ve changed my wording to say “I’ve seen speculation”

I don’t want it to come back that some cyclone fan started this rumor. If you look on twitter there are a lot of Iowa fans speculating he’ll leave. That’s really all I’ve seen but found it interesting none the less.

Besides, with Fran's players (and sons) active on twitter, it would get back to him. I really doubt he'd be starting him if he knew that. Don't fall for it. Just some Hawk fans that got carried away probably.

I remember thinking the same about Nader. And look at him now.
