I would be one pissed off SOB if they didn't resign Cruz. There's a lot that guy brings to the club on and off the stat sheet. They need him.

Since it's NFL season all the sports peeps here do is talk Viking Vikings Vikings Vikings Viking and something something Vikings.

They non-tendered Rosario as you know which makes him gone unless they free agent sign him which ain't happening. The take here was that after his "farewell" statement there is no free agent likelihood since no mutual interest.

Since it doesn't sound like the NL adds DH for 2021 Cruz is being talking about more positively with respect to him re-signing. If the NL had opted for DH he was likely to get a way better offer from all of those NL teams looking for a quick fix at DH.

Thanks.
I saw one article mentioning the White Sox where interested in Cruz. Hope not, as the Sox should already have a good team returning. Twins need to give Nellie the 2 year deal he wants.

I liked Rosario's swagger, but he wasted one helluva lot of ABs trying to hit a 6-run homer to the moon.
Or ran into tag ending an inning. Or costed runs not hustling in the outfield. Or popped out on the first pitch without seeing what a new reliever had..... I could keep going.
