Musselman has more to do with their success than NIL money. He has NBA ties, similar to how Fred got players here, and had been to 2 straight Elite 8s. That will help recruiting more than the Walton family.
All very true but the 6 figure check that comes along with playing for him certainly doesn't hurt his ability to get kids.

Kind of a poor mans Diante Burton. Just very powerful. Definetly would love to see this guy playing for us.
Baylor has had like 4 of these types of players. I'd absolutely love having this guy. He'd be an absolute menace on the offensive glass. Highlight reel type of guy, like you said, Deonte Burton.

FYI Noah has a top 5. Don’t believe ISU has interest but though there’d be interested portalers.

4 of those make all the sense in the world. Young at VT recruited him when he was at Wofford, Mizzou and Florida should have tons of minutes available. Dad has wanted him at Marquette for 2 years.

I have no idea how he'd see the floor at Arkansas with all the dudes they're bringing in.

Missouri with a fired coach and everyone leaving is trying to fill the roster and he is a solid player. So I get the Mizzou one.

One beer? Maybe. 2 or more? I'm guessing that could get pretty dark and cringeworthy pretty quickly. One minute you're ordering your third round. The next, Huggy's got you penned in the corner of the bar, telling you what's wrong with America, and muttering about the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald being an inside job.
Good points but about 70% of America is very willing to tell you what is wrong with America after a couple of drinks. That's why I like to drink alone. No. I don't have a problem.

I'd still probably prefer to have a drink with Huggy than any other coach. That says less about Huggy and more about the general personality of most college coaches. There just aren't a lot of Johnny Orr and Rick Majerus-type coaches around right now.

If we are able to land Basile and a solid scoring guard (come on down AJ), I would absolutely take a flier on Alston. Even if he's not a key contributor, I'll settle for a 6'6" bad ass
Very high ceiling if his athleticism can translate to the B12. Looks like he dominated DII by just being an athletic menace. Probably would still be a better athlete than most, but how well does he do when more guys can compete? Regardless, he'd be a great flier to take IMO.
