Not a shooter at all, but he's knows that. Shot 72% from the free throw line and would probably be a solid add in the front court. Still think getting one post who can stretch the floor a bit or be able to break someone down off the dribble and either finish at the rim or distribute is pretty important, though. This guy along with a Basile type would be a great fit.

If we just stack our team with all defensive team members maybe we hold opponents to 25. We just need to scrap up 30!

Think ISU would have any interest in 2 Wisconsin transfers -

Ben Carlson, a 4-star out of the Twin Cities.
Matthew Mors, a 4-star out of Yankton, SD He redshirted his FR yr at Wisconsin
I brought up Mors a while ago, but crickets. So apparently not.

Both guys were pretty solid recruits, probably could be nice players somewhere. But neither did much of anything at Wisconsin and seem more like candidates to go down a level than come fight for minutes at ISU.

I'd like him a lot more if it meant getting his teammate. That would be an elite defensive team.

Fair to say the staff isn’t thinking a repeat of last year will just happen. They’ve been hitting the portal hard.

Another contact.

Another interesting prospect. I do like him too. Seems like we’ve sort of gotten the feel as to what TJ’s plan is for one of these spots. Athletic and average to good shooter.

This guy was a 38% 3PT shooter at Ball State. Over 50% from 2 as well.

He's got a quick release, solid enough numbers, length. Like what I see at first glance.

He'd be a 6th year guy. 6'8" forward with some perimeter game. Like what I hope Watson to be next year.

In 2017 he had 4 points and 9 rebounds as a freshman in a 6 point loss against Iowa St.

Agreed. Feels like most (not all but most) names I've seen linked from P6 schools are more candidates to move down a level this year. Maybe I haven't paid enough attention, though.
I’ve seen a lot from the SEC but don’t think we’d be linked to those that much.

Maybe the program height is with shoes. And socks.

He's long, athletic, and can shoot some. I have no idea on his defense, but love that we reached out.
In terms of hasty comparisons, I'll throw out Zoran Talley (who could have been so much better). I don't know if he has the guard skills of Clyburn.

I’d love a guy at that size with that ability. This guy seems more skilled than Zoran although I agree he was misused.
