The wind is still howling and rattling the house here in FD. It's hard to imagine the Blizzard warning will be over at 6am.

Not exactly sure.
Kid needs to make it home so we can get going on vacation. Told him yesterday that I would be rolling around 7:30 to 8. He going to be ready to go soon just a few minutes ago.

Roads for him look decent except a 10 mile stretch right to our town. I know the guy who plows that, apparently his is about the only driver that hasn't gotten rolling yet per the map.

After 15 hours and two small heaters, the shower line finally thawed. What a magical sound when all of a sudden there is a steady stream of water.
Did you jump in right away? I bet that water would wake up instantly, like your own polar bear plunge.
Thought about it!
