Go door county style and stuff with cream cheese and cherries.

Tell me more about this. Is it 2 layers of bread with this in between and all fried together or just topped with the cream cheese and a cherry sauce type deal.

Badger men have a game Friday night, against Grambling State, and my sister has to work it, so she's not coming home until Saturday. I really hope they cancel it. Actually I hope they let her come home Wednesday night.
Women have a game Thursday night too, against Valparaiso, which they'll come by bus likely Wednesday, but they wouldn't be able to leave Thursday night. Hope they cancel that.

Worst case I'll drive up and get her Saturday, I got the better vehicle. We may postpone our Christmas until the 25th, we usually do the 24th.

Anyone else have the "well at least it's going to be a white Christmas" weirdo in their family?

Not exactly.

But my Dad did tell me last week (before we heard about this storm) that supposedly whatever weather we have during the Winter Solstice is indicative of what our weather is supposed to be like for a couple of months.

That wasn't true last year.

I would argue that 10-12" of snow matters quite a lot compared to 2-4". If it truly ends up that bad and lasts until Friday, nobody's going anywhere on Christmas Eve either, because they'll still be digging out of their own driveways, and even if they accomplish that the roads will still be in terrible shape and littered with abandoned cars.

That is definitely true, but I think the main takeaway is that travel will not be advised Thurs and Friday at the very least with an outside chance that this storm will severely impact travel on Christmas Eve itself.

Either way, the best day to get last minute Christmas shopping done was today. The next two days will be filled with panic buying as people start to realize how impactful this storm will be later in the week.
