Lipsey, Grill, Williams, Watson, King x 2, and the four freshman.

Omaha and Lipsey are locks to start. We need at least two dynamic wings who can play 1-4 on offense and guard 1-4 more than we need anything else.

We need experience and scoring like fish need water
Why is Lipsey a lock to start? I'd like a PG that can shoot. Personally I think he is a great backup that can give good minutes. Gives defensive energy and can distribute. I guess maybe I just want the team to be better.

Agreed. Williams didn’t shoot great at Temple but his volume shows willingness. And he’s as good of a creator as Tamin from looking at his highlights. Hopefully the summer is kind to him.

As much as I love Tamin, I don't think he's a lock to start. Maybe he starts, but plays less minutes is what I'm thinking. Why? Because teams have almost totally taken away Osun's pick and roll because they all back off Tamin. Other than a few hesitation drives, plus love his defense, he is hurting us big time on the offensive end. If he can't make the 3's, he's at least going to have to be able to make the 12 ft. pull up jumper off the dribble.
(also: not convinced Grill will be back).

If Grill does come back, no way TJ doesn’t start him.

Lipsey needs to really put in the work on the offensive end and learn to be aggressive. He gets in the lane a lot but then mostly just looks to pass.

To be honest it would be great to have a good shooter. However, Williams not having a great three point shooting percentage is better than what Lipsey is doing. I mean shooting 25 percent at least requires the other team to come out and guard you. Not just hand out in the lane knowing you won't even attempt a shot. Hopefully Tamin works on that part of his game this offseason. If he can hit at a 30 percent clip, He would be super dangerous driving the lane and could be next level.

i think tamin can get to the 30% clip with some off-season work. He just needs to put in the time/shots. I can’t really speak to Williams but regardless of whoever is in that facilitator position, their life will be much easier if we have 3 guys that can hit the three at a respectable clip and spread the floor (and that will help our bigs out too). If we don’t get guys that can spread the floor in the offseason, our offense won’t be much better than this year. We lose arguably our four best shooters in Gabe, Grill, Jaz, and Holmes. There is a lot to replace there. Granted maybe Williams can hit at a 30+ % clip, maybe momcilivic can as well? To me, those are both big ifs.

Maybe we could develop the talent we have.

Sure, but there are a maximum of 7 scholarship players returning, 3-4 of them (arguably) haven’t played significant minutes this year. Even if all 7 return (which never happens), you need at least one more transfer, and, honestly, I’ll set the over/under at 3.
