So cold. But I’m so happy to see the sun out. I’d take 10 and sunny over 28 and foggy and cloudy.

On a side note, my spouse was a PA in an OBGYN office. She was talking to one of the docs about her perineal (perennial) garden, not realizing her mix-up. I can still hear the laughter.

Meteorologists are concerned about how people talk about the weather. As in, buzz words aren't always accurate.
Not much frost, ground is going to warm up quick if we get any heat.
By this time next week most of the state will not have much snow cover. Northern and NW Iowa...you have a ways to go I assume.
I hope all the snow melts this weekend, I’m getting tired of it.
We have a crap load, that is why they say we won't get over the mid 30s.
That’s pretty crazy. Apparently they’ve recorded 200mph wind gust there.
I’ve done some hiking in the NE, the wind on top of the mountains is insane there for some reason.
During the summer there is a road you can drive to the top at the observatory. In the winter the road is closed and the staff spend a week or two up there using one of those big arctic cat things to get up and down.
