They've called the crest in Ft. Dodge today instead of tomorrow. Just under 16ft instead of 19.

Saw a few other rivers did in eastern Iowa.

Wonder if vegetation along the rivers was overlooked to stamp it down some.

Was heavy rain out west. If a cell parks on you, expect to get a lot.
Doesn't look like it will be a problem. Whatever was holding.things in place seems to have broke loose. Storms pretty much blew right through most of the metro.

Feels like that's the story of a lot of storms lately. Look nasty then start to fall apart a few miles west of the metro

Must have gotten windy in Ankeny last night. I lost a big branch on one of my maple trees.
