I tried aerating my yard last weekend and I might as well have been doing the driveway. The sprinklers only do so much, but I'd like to get it done soon.
Tried doing a friends yard with my tow-behind... Got most of it done but when I went to do the last part realized the frame had cracked where the wheels connect to the handle to raise/lower it. Luckily my dad has some welders at his shop and thinks it can be fixed, but yeesh.

Soybean harvest is tough right now especially for seed companies seed production acres. Down to 7% moisture according to Stine guy I talk with. They are working around the clock. Come Saturday if it is really windy those pods will be shattering like crazy!!

Eh, besides the loss of yield with 8% beans, you could not ask for better conditions. Most operations are gonna be finishing up beans in the next week anyway.

I’m gonna be done on Saturday or Monday. Just gotta figure out if I wanna work Saturday. Dry conditions give me that option

Personally hadn't seen anything below 8.0, but it sure wouldn't surprise me.

Ryan Hall says he wouldn't be surprised if we could possibly see some snow come late October.

7:30 mark:

It would make sense to go from 80 degrees to below freezing and snow within a 1-2 day period. Then we can all pretend to be shocked by it, despite living in Iowa our whole lives.
