Good insight from a players perspective. I really think the front office doing basically nothing has collapsed the motivation in this team.

0:34 in. Watch.

Agree 100%. Adding players like Naylor, Surarez, Miller, Duran, and Gore would have given our players extra motivation to go out and play extra hard.

Good to see the bats finally get going. Now lets see if we can comeback and put up a good performance versus Sonny Gray tomorrow night.

I'm to the point where the Brewers don't matter unless they playing the Mets or the Padres. Reds are still 7 back of us. Would take an epic collapse by us not to get a wild card. Or a big collapse by the brewers not to win the division now. Reality is we are going to be 1 of the 3 wild cards unless something really unlikely happens.

Totally disagree on this one. While the Brewers can't seem to lose, they are playing way above their talent right now, and at some point I think they will regress (although I've been saying this for weeks and it doesn't seem to happen). I wouldn't consider it a collapse if the Brewers didn't win the division.

Suarez may be the greatest non move ever made for Jed. We all know what Shaw has done but have you checked out Suarez’s numbers in Seattle? Hitting .088 OPS .341. Thank you Matt.

But to get Gore would you have given up Cade Horton? From what I've read Horton was part of asking price for any of the elite starters (Gore & Ryan).

Yep the brewers can do no wrong. But IMO they can't play at this level much longer. At some point, they will hit a tough spell and we'll see what happens.

That said getting Woodruff back was huge. Having he and Peralta at the top of a rotation is nice.

Also interesting when asked during last nights Cub's game, John Smoltz likes Phillies to go to WS from NL.

The Brewers have been so good for so long now, it will be very interesting to see how they handle a bump in the road at this point. I think I saw that they’ve won 75% of their games for something like their last 60 games or so. That’s nuts, but they’ve also had quite a few lucky breaks in that time that have helped them come back, win one run games, etc. If they only win 60% of their remaining games, they get to 100 wins. In that sense, it would seem like a collapse for them to not get there and win the division. But if they only win 5 of 10 at some point here, do they start trying to tweak things and send themselves into a bit of a collapse? It will be interesting…momentum goes both ways and can swing hard.
