Refs kept Fla in it (phantom foul on a 3 and the reversal of offensive goaltending), then TT did the rest! Despise Golden! He doesn’t do a thing, other then harrass women! In the SEC it’s okay to do!

They definitely weren't helped by some calls, but yeah, at the line and some questionable choices on offense in general (some really quick shots they didn't need to be taking before Florida caught up)

Not going to argue the reffing was garbage - I saw a Tech player early in the game get shoved in the back on a ball that was going straight to him and instead was rebounded by the Florida player that shoved him and I immediately thought "so it's going to be one of those games", and right before halftime I even made a mocking post about it.

But when you're up 10 with just minutes left and you then miss FTs, and those FTs were a key factor in a 9-0 run... you've got nobody but yourself to blame.

Exactly. You can’t only blame the refs when you lose. Tech had every opportunity to put them away and couldn’t deliver when it counted.

The TT meltdown reminded me of the 1987 Elite 8 game between LSU and Indiana @ Cincinnati. With seconds left in the game, LSU missed the front end of a one and one (by a good free-throw shooter) that would have WON the game and sent LSU to the Final Four @ New Orleans! After the miss, IU rushed down the court and hit a game winner at the buzzer. Fast forward to New Orleans, and IU cut down the nets after Keith Smart hit the game winner against Syracuse in the Final. It is so crazy how surviving one game in crazy fashion can lead to a Championship. Time will tell if Florida cashes in on the gift they just received.

Totally fair but when there is zero foul discrepancy, or even have the fouls in your advantage blaming the refs is just being a sore loser.

Massive foul discrepancy I will give you all day but this was pretty even. If you were a fan of Florida I bet they were saying the exact same things about the refs until they won.

It’s always easy to blame the refs but it’s almost always the players who decide the game

Doubt you'll ever see any of that - the NCAA has little ability to control anything anymore and SEC dominance is exactly what ESPN wants... and ESPN controls almost all aspects of college athletics with the exception of broadcasting the NCAA Tournament.
