I have no doubt they will be a tournament team. I agree that they were a tough matchup for us, but we could have won that game. I could be proved wrong, but I just think we are giving them a little too much credit.

Gonzaga will be a 2 seed probably...They aren't going to lose alot of games...Think about this..They were 9-12 from 3 in a half and shot 75% in first half...No team..and I mean no team...should have made that game a last shot game...but we did..

Gonzaga will be top 10 all year...We have a good team and I think when Young gets back and into his groove this team is going to surprise alot of folks

And you are a cancer on the team, bringing nothing but disruption and distraction.
I think you are a secret Hawkeye embedded to try and bring down the Clones.
(OK that last line might be a little too low of a blow. Guy is taking one for the team . . )

One of his big hobbies is banging other dudes gfs

Great all around game from Burton. Our offense gets stale if he's not aggressive.

Part of the reason Naz's 3 pt % is down is he's taking more difficult, longer shots than previous years. Ideally he'll start laying off some of those.

If that big A$$ white dude from Gonzaga doesn't have a nickname, I propose The Abominible Snowman for their fans to call him. For old timers, is that Mark Eatons love child?

That was a heck of a game, wish we could have sunk the last shot or forced overtime, but what an outstanding 2nd half by our team. Listening to the post game show I was impressed at how much more at ease Burton came across than just his last interview.

Prohm calling a time out cost isu chance to win. not recognizing isu had a foul to give. Inexcusable. Then glossing over the point and not owning up to it in post game interview. Clearly outcoaced.
And if they didn't call a timeout there and didn't get a good shot, people would be ripping him for not using the timeout. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Man the bar is set high around here. A 2 point loss to a Top 10 team with one of the best coaches in game and fans are mad at CSP. What does the guy have to do to get your support?

I can be critical of not getting a decent look in a 2 point game with the ball and an AA point-guard after a time-out. That does NOT make me a bad fan nor does it mean I don't respect how great everyone thinks Gonzaga is. Wanting a play in place that presumably we practice to get a decent shot up for the win is NOT A HIGH BAR. It is par for the course for a top 25 team. Get real.

I believe that was a play they have ran in the past. Sometimes you have to give the other team credit and learn from it.

You should have listened to the post game interviews, they did have a play drawn up, in fact it was a Hoiberg play (that has worked in the past) that Prohm liked and kept in the playbook. Prohm also said they were going for the win and not the tie, which I love. Unfortunately it didn't work this time.

Also, it's on Monte and Deonte for not driving to the hole and being so passive in crunch time. Guys with their talent need to drive. I would have thought Monte would have learned this from Kane because he was always wanting to drive.

Gonzaga has a long way to go before they qualify as a Final Four. They are NOT going to shoot another 77% half in tourney this year. They had 27 points from the three and they caved under defensive pressure. I'd put my money on ISU making the final four before Gonzaga. I'd love to play them again in the elite 8 game. I also question if Gonzaga will peak early with those transfers.

One of the reasons they shot so well is because they passed so well. Didn't last the whole game, but still, it was impressive.

Plus, that Sasquatch down low creates all sorts of problems. Gonzaga is an easy Final Four favorite. They're for real. Nothing against ISU. They could've won, but the loss will not hurt them at all.
