Proud of the comeback but god damn am I sick and tired of seeing stupid threes in the last two minutes of a close game. 4 straight three point attempts missed and not one of them had an attempt to drive the ball first.
We can play with anybody in the big 12. I like our team. Gonzaga is good, really good.
I have now added Gonzaga to the list that includes Hampton and UAB.
Great comeback, great guts, great defense.
Burton played absolutely awesome.
Poor execution taking too many deep threes.
Would like to see Monte be more aggressive going to the hoop.
We need to find a way to get 3-4 people on at once.
Great game against a great team. We can learn a lot from this loss and this loss doesn't hurt our resume at all.

Rough last couple of minutes on the offensive end. Feels like we let that slip away, but it was amazing we got to that point after how the first half went.
Prohm's second-half plan was perfect — using the press, and what I would call a "junk" defense in half-court. Management of the offense down the stretch was only questionable thing. Burton's offensive effort was stellar.
I'm not mad either. Could have easily lost this by 30+. Showed me a lot today.
Horrible play design drawn up by Prohm there though. Someone should have driven it. Kara Lawson nailed it.
When trying to take the lead after a huge comeback, just do the opposite of what got you there and start chucking up 3's and hope they go in.
First of all, great guts by our team to come back from a possible blowout. We belong with anyone when we play well.
That being said, this one hurts because we should have won easily. So many stops that were wasted with a bad 3 point heroball shot. Also, Monte knows he's gotta get a shot up.
However, while it sucks, not a bad loss by any means. Can still accomplish all of our goals this season.

We played like trash in the first half and still had a chance to win at the end. Needed some better possessions there at the end for sure. We didn't give up and nearly made an 18 point comeback on one of the best teams in the country. Feeling really good right now and can't wait for the Cincy game Thursday
To be fair, Gonzaga really tightened up their zone defense and wasn't giving anything. Our guys were gassed too. I agree though, wish we didn't take those shots. However, most games, you let Naz shoot that.
At full strength, I think it would have been a different story. Young would have made a huge difference.
