This is correct. It's the difference between our coaching staff and others. Campbell would have run a couple of short, quick plays to see if something broke loose and take it from there. But no way they'd start chucking it deep like Texas just did.

Just gave all of the momentum to Texas heading into the locker room after dominating the half. ISU football.

Yeah, you can complain about clock management all you want, but the defense gave up more yards on the possession than the rest of the half.
Players should have been in the locker room when final ticks off clock at FG. Execution was flawless on pass plays. Umbrella doesn't work when QB has all day to throw ball all over field. Only thing missing was a PI call against ISU.

Not sure if it’s been noted, but why did we stop the clock on that 3rd down before the field goal? Could’ve winded it down a lot more giving Texas less time...

Yeah, should have dialled up pressure on the first play on their 20 to get them off the field.
