More like Iowa State showing up to our house and behaving badly. The first time you come your players stands in front of our fans and flips off everybody in the building. Then you come back a few years later and play like its a hockey game.

If you watch the video, the main take away is the victim of the dirty play is still hurt. He said his neck and ribs hurt. That may have cost BYU the game at Texas Tech we'll never know. Just because he could play it doesn't mean he's 100% and probably far from it. Nice job.

This sort of thing happens in basketball games. Robert Jones got up, never said anything to the player or refs, and never said anything after the game. Because Robert Jones isn't a *****. I'm sure the WCC will take you guys back if you can't handle the Big 12.

That Houston game was WAY more physical than the game ISU played in Provo. Tell you guys to get used to it or quit.

Please, for the love of god, stop feeding the troll and let this thread die.

We don't have your good sense.

STOP FEEDING THE TROLL.
I'm not saying we should feed the troll, but our doing so is not really harming anything. In fact, it's probably good for the site, more clicks.

If the mods think it is enough, they will lock the thread, and/or eject the perpetrator.

You're right. Everybody knew it should have been a Flagrant 2. Robert hit the ground hard, coming down on his side and shoulder, with his arm overhead. He could have broken a rib or his arm, dislocated his shoulder, etc. Yet he bounced right back up and never said a word about it, never complained.

Later, maybe it was the same game, or the OklaState (?) game, he went up for a shot or a rebound, got hit and came down again, very hard on his side, back and hip. This one hurt, stung a lot, and you could tell he was hurt. But he shook it off and continued to play.

BRE is a tough guy and a great human.

Yeah, I would guess that if Rob had stayed down and sold the injury a bit more, he probably has a better chance of getting that call against Houston

You might be surprised to see what happens in that Houston game tomorrow. BYU is going to be able to match their physical style of play is what I think. If BYU wins this game it's a statement that we're in the Big 12 to play and nobody's going to push us around. Alot of people just assume we're nice squeaky clean Mormon boys. That's not the case. They play to win and won't back down. But the difference is you can do it with some class and not flagrants.

Boy if we had a nickel for everytime anyone who isn't from BYU has called the character of Melvin Ejim and Hasan Ward, respectively, into question...

...well, we would have 0 nickels. Because it's literally never happened before.

Might wanna wait a little longer to start picking your battles, @BYU Dad because this is the Big 12 conference.

It gets a lot lot worse.

Actually people that have watched BYU know they're a very solid team who plays extremely hard and can shoot the crap out of the ball, but you're here watering that opinion of mine down. Hasan let the emotion get the best of him and forearm shivered the guy in the chest and his follow through hit him in the neck area. Dumb thing to do and a no doubt flagrant 2. But it wasn't a punch or something like him taking out his legs or anything crazy to seriously injure someone.

Stop trying to make this into something it really isn't. You're going to see A LOT worse in this league.

False. We know from experience over time that you're chippy little weasels. Basically like a Duke without their pedigree or talent level. Also, you're welcome for the clean version.

Well, I fed them earlier, sorry.

And you do have a point, this HAS to be a troll. This is obviously a person impersonating a BYU fan to make them look bad. No real fan of BYU could possibly be this ******* stupid. Not sure there are humans that are this ******* stupid.

Therefore, Troll.

Imagine getting this worked up over 1 game in early January.

Let this idiot circle it on his calendar, by March 6th I'm worrying about our NCAA seeding and whether or not we win the Big 12 tourney.

Shows how pathetic of a fansbae they are to be worried about 1 game late in the season.

I really don't know that it is. BYU fans have a lot of undeserved arrogance. Its like getting texas a&m back in the conference.

There's nothing wrong with playing hard, playing to win, not backing down, all the teams in the Big 12 and good teams in P5 do this. You know this, what are you trying to prove? If your team plays arrogantly or unfairly, not saying you do, most of the time, but if you do, it will be returned in full measure.

Hason Ward didn't all of sudden decide to cold cok Saunders without cause. You are whiney and arrogant. If and when you played BB, were you also unfair?

We've been to Provo twice, and the first time one of the nicest and smartest players we've ever had flipped your crowd off for dropping N bombs. Then you guys were taking cheap shots all game and get it back and act like someone tried to kill you. We have a word for that here, SOFT.
