It was a nice win, but we have played better. I think the staff just wanted to grind out a win without any big mistakes or injuries. It's nice to be able to go on the road in conference play and do that.

Given he's a senior, the coaching staff is probably thinking it's better to get the younger guys in the game for the valuable experience.
...and Baylor's rush defense is big time bad, allowing 5.4 yards/rushing attempt, good for 113th in the nation. We should rush for 300 yds w/DM getting 200 yds by himself.
When you're either has beens or never was es like us, this is the big event for the day/night.
These young guys take care of business and shift their thoughts else where.

Specials teams wasn't too much of a bummer today. That was nice.

I'd love if every 2nd half of the rest of the season were boring.

Would have been nice to score a few more points in the second half. Give the KU defense some credit, they got some pressure on Purdy, and stepped up to stop the run. They did not give up, which is a big step up for KU.
We had an injury TO for Willie Harvey but they didn't say much about what the issue was.
