Yep…. the drive basically had no chance after that 1st down call.

Giving away a down by running against the best run defense in the league makes no sense. Opportunities lost to start 2nd half.

this might be a more relevant complaint if we weren't 1-1 on FGs tonight.

the real problem is we've had way too many short drives... especially 3-and-outs.

This is pretty much the game I expected. We get a two score lead and it feels like we’re losing the entire time.

7.7 to 4.0 in yards per play advantage for KSU will do that.

We’ve seen this before - Iowa State gets a lead, then doesn’t keep the pedal down and counts on blocked kicks/turnovers keeping them there, while the opponent just keeps pushing the ball downfield, and suddenly it’s a toss-up.

Getting the second half kick and then blocking a FG up ten should have lit a fire under these guys.
