I love Jaz but give me Tre's athletic ability and length
I love that their games compliment each other perfectly. Both play great D but you can either have Tre attacking or Kunc shooting. Or both can play at once and all 5 positions on the floor can create their own shot.

He posted a big thing on Twitter too with a bunch of examples.
Would love to see what Fran tweeted on that if someone can post it.

Also, I've been trying to find the post game pressers from TJ and Dixon. If someone else can find those, please post the link. Thanks!

Kenpom has us up to #28 now, projected 10-8 in conference. Which would be 3rd. Still crazy how the worst team is expected 7-11. Just such even conference all around.
Who woulda thunk ISU and KSU tied for the league lead at 3-0 each, at this point?

Amazing from both teams.

We still have 83% of the conference season left to go, but I love what I'm seeing so far.

This is gonna be a grueling marathon by the time we're done. This is one of those years where an early exit in the Big 12 tournament might be a blessing in disguise.

Seemed to be last year for ISU.

Bob Jones was great today, but can the coaches just start getting him to shoot granny style from the free throw line? I don't understand why bad free throw shooters dont do this.
I’m not saying Bob Jones is bad at shooting free throws…but he makes Shaq look like Rick Barry from the line
How old are you? [See below...I take it back! Shaq was pretty awful though. Robert's form is better. I think?]
I dunno, seems like granny/Rick Barry style requires as much technique as "regular." Maybe try a straight soft bank-shot.
If you can't shoot regular, think how bad you'd be trying a whole new way? Worth a try I guess. I'm sure he's tried it.
Im pretty sure with 1 year's training I could shoot better with my off hand than Bob on his FT. WTF? 39% has to be last in the country right? Beyond that, I am happy with Bob on the floor.
Ouch. I didn't realize. 39% is not great.

Right now I don't care if he ever makes one again. 3-0!!! Great win!

If I were an opposing coach, I'd tell my guys to play hack-a-shack defense against Jones. Makes me wonder if TJ will have to start sitting Jones at the end of close games.

With that said, Robert Jones is one of favorite players. Love his effort and toughness!

He'll come up with something. TJ is growing as a coach right before our eyes.

Rob will have to show improvement in practice, or he will take a seat during crunch time.

We had no business winning that game! Over the last two years we almost never win only making 4 threes and especially with only 3 made FTs.

We won because we shot 63% (27/43) on 2-pt shots - which has very much not been our strength this year!

Crazy stat: we missed 16 2-or shots. TCU was credited with 9 blocks. Which leaves only 7 shots missed that weren’t blocked!!

Plus we only shot 3 for 9 for free throws and got beat by 13 from the free throw line.

Another amazing stat: we start 4 guards against a great rebounding team and we out rebounded them 32 to 27.
