With the possible exception of coming off our 2-20 year how is ISU KU ever missing national audience? They love KU and our decent teams give them fits while rest of league likes to roll over.

Is there ANY chance they shift it to a normal ESPN channel?

If ISU beats Tech this week, ISU/KU is one of the first 'must see' type conference games of the season.

My thoughts as if anyone cares…
- Gabe was best all around player on floor for either team before he even hit that winner.
- foul calls for first 30 minutes were atrocious and impossible to ge that wrong just accidentally, TCU plays physical too
- we got lucky they went 5-13 ft during the first half when we went 0-0 in true WWE scripted fashion, incredible to have a half time lead
- the one was a bad call but we have to figure out how to foul 3 point shooters less often, fouling 3 point shots kept them in the game
-Watson gave us tons of energy
-other teams may learn to foul Jones late, it’s just a smart play
-Good up and down game for Tamin to learn on the road
-Tamin and Holmes can create in the paint better than anybody we had last year and it raises floor of the offense drastically
I like these points.

Tre King had a quiet 12 pts and he is just probably now finding his groove after being away from game action for 18 months.

You're right Watson does not score a ton but he is a DAWG on the glass and a really hard hosed guy in the right position.

Tamin is starting to consistently get us 10 ppg which I thought would have been nuts 4 months ago. He has such a smooth running floater - it is Curtis Stinson like. Tamin also doesn't need many shots to score a lot too - incredibly efficient.

Not sure if the last play went exactly to plan, but I liked taking a jump shot since the refs proved that they were not going to call a foul there.

They are ever so slightly a different team with Tre instead of Jaz. Bit more physical, bit less finesse. Being able to go back and forth with that a bit once Jaz is back will be interesting. Gives TJ another lever to pull on lineups and style night to night.
I really like how Tre fits on this team. Obviously they were already tough defensively and going for loose balls, et cetera. But Tre King is tough in a different way with his strength and he's a bit more "in your face" in the way he plays.

There were a handful of calls that weren’t right. I’ll give you that. But could you imagine putting yourself in those shoes. That would be an absolute daunting/nightmarish game to call. The pace and physicality. So yeah, not terrible officiating. I’ll stick with my opinion.
right about the physicality and what to call. So many block/charge decisions in this game. Of course I don't know how they determine what to call in all the leagues across basketball. Tough job.

Great to get another road win. When will I be able to trust that this team is actually pretty good? Every road game feels like it is going to be a repeat of the trip to Iowa City to me. The big thing about this game is that ISU shot like crap from the 3 point line and still won. The two wins before this Grill was really hitting the 3s the win the game.

Bob Jones was great today, but can the coaches just start getting him to shoot granny style from the free throw line? I don't understand why bad free throw shooters dont do this.

What kills me, is I thought he had it sorted out. First game he was 2-2, vs Nova he was 2-3. I thought "hey he worked on the FTs and got that fixed".

A little premature on my part...

I love Watson too, and REALLY want him to grow into a solid player with us. Seems like a great young man. But Lampkin completely owned him down low. Lampkin for TCU just outmuscled him the vast majority of the game. Dude is a beast. lol

Lampkin is going to do that to almost everyone he plays. And Watson isn't really the best one on our team to stop him.
