The last three games have got me wondering how in the hell we lost to Iowa this year.
Probably minority but not surprised that “losing Jaz” was not a catastrophic deal. I found CW’s claim a few weeks ago that we as fans weren’t worried enough about losing Jaz pretty odd. Jaz is a wonderful Cyclone and has to be a nightmare for other teams because of his smarts and effort. But he wasn’t crazy effective this year, has very little post-game, with not much bulk (which limited him last year guarding the bigger bigs in conference), and getting Tre King is the biggest boost we’ve had in years mid season. I think we’ll keep rolling, and this should allow Jaz the ability to slowly work his way back without rushing.
We have been making lemonaid out of the Jaz injury, so far. Still, he might likely miss both KU games, before he is ready to come back. That is tough. And perhaps depending on line ups Jaz can have less to do and lean on his strengths to compliment everything else when he gets back.

What exactly did TJ say at the end there—- “…and you knocked it down!!!” ???I love how TJ can flip from stoic coach, praise the effort, etc. to 'Let's GO!' mode in a mili-second.
2000 team lost to Drake, which is the same thing. The last three games have got me wondering how in the hell we lost to Iowa this year.
6pts, 3reb, 3TO Lampkin? That Lampkin?I love Watson too, and REALLY want him to grow into a solid player with us. Seems like a great young man. But Lampkin completely owned him down low. Lampkin for TCU just outmuscled him the vast majority of the game. Dude is a beast. lol
Missed most of the game attending to a household mechanical issue and then listened in the car on the way to the hardware store as we pissed a 9-point lead down our legs. Went inside, came out, and lo and behold -- WIN! Hoo-hoo!

..."And not counting that we had only 13 personal fouls and they had 21. They were 3 of 9 at the foul line yes, but we were only 16 for 28. That's horrible! The refs tried to help us but we just didn't finish the job!"According to Miles, he's quite pleased with the game! "It showed we can play with anybody," Miles said. "We didn't play our best game on either defense or offense. We shot bad from the line, we had a lot of turnovers, and we still only lost by two. It shows how good of a team we are.""
Indeed! The refs couldn't affect our stellar FT defense. LOLOur free throw defense was excellent.
But every one of his 3 FG's were awesome!6pts, 3reb, 3TO Lampkin? That Lampkin?
Tre King is one of those guys that makes HUGE hustle plays on defense. Active with deflections and other plays that don’t show up with the box score. I think we really lucked out getting this transfer. Seems like a level-headed guy too..
Almost the same, coaching youth bball all day and that was the part of the game game I caught on the radio!Missed most of the game attending to a household mechanical issue and then listened in the car on the way to the hardware store as we pissed a 9-point lead down our legs. We certainly have a really good shotmy friends, we are going to win the league
They tried so hard to give tcu that one I was getting so mad. The last 2 should have been offensive fouls for a kickRefs did everything in their power to screw us out of that win…but they didn’t count on Gabe freakin Kalscheur
