Stoked for 80/35 - I think this will be the best one yet! Wilco, Weezer - I am also looking forward to the Orwells and Cloud Nothings. St Lucia should be fun.

Seeing Weezer tonight in MPLS. Actually it looks like multiple bands are going from the event up here to 80/35.

People should go see Damon Dotson on the free stage. His latest album is fantastic and he is a local Iowa guy. Check out his latest album on Spotify.

Wilco, Wilco, Wilco!!!

Can't wait to see them on Tuesday night at Red Rocks in Colorado.

I have a 9yo named Wilco, I've seen them 34 times, but I have no desire to drive the 30 miles south to watch them at 80-35. Most festivals in general, and especially 80-35 just don't really appeal to me at all.

drlove, I saw them a couple summers ago at Red Rocks with Dr. Dog. Now THAT is a venue. Wilco will be a great show, but I'd rather see them by themselves.

I've said since the announcement, if Wilco & Weezer were playing on the same day I'd go.

I was at the Dr. Dog show. Yes, that was a great show. I've always loved Hilton Coliseum, but Red Rocks is my happy place.

Can't make it this weekend. Kind of intrigued by the Hinterland festival in a couple weeks, though.

I'll never understand why people find it necessary to bash on people's preferences on here. The OP asked who we're pumped to see so let people be pumped to see Weezer. You don't have to like them. I work this weekend but I'd love to see Weezer live.

I was up front for Jenny Lewis and Wilco last night.
Both were great live.
The weather was awesome.
Jenny was looking good.
I was on the left side of the stage right in front of Nels Cline, man that guy can play.

Went all day today and just did free stages. Good shows all around but if I was going to rate them it would be The Orwells and then everybody else. Those young bucks rock hard.

Weezer was great last night. Did OAR play 80/35? They were OK in mpls, but I've never been a big fan

This. Different music speaks to different people. It's not about the technicality of the music (the notes they play, their overall style, etc.), it's about what it says to the individual person, and what resonates about a song or band with one person won't necessarily resonate with another. That said, my roommate looked at me last night like I was an idiot and told me I listened to bad music.

I was listening to Foo Fighters and Jimi Hendrix. For ****'s sake.
