Bad refs, no doubt.
Bad effort on our part for much of the game.
But most important, hats off to Oklahoma. They got the job done today.

I think every game of the Hoiberg era Iowa State has lost has been because of the refs.
I'm sure today it isn't the repeated open looks from 3 for Oklahoma. Or the fact that DeAndre Kane apparently can't hit a free throw. Or that we're shooting about 20% from deep.
We've played with fire a LOT this year and finally got burned.

Now I know what our opponents have felt the last few years when we couldn't seem to miss a shot.
I never agree with the analysts that you should go for 2 down 6 with 30 seconds.
We're going to make 3 2s and the opponent goes 0-6 on free throws? That rarely happens.
