I hate being 1,000 miles from Ames. Only been back for one game after graduating in 2009 but whenever the Cyclones come to Morgantown I make the much less daunted 150 mile drive for those games. Even though it's Arkansas State I bet the crowd will be good as they want to cheer on a squad that just pulled off an amazing come from behind victory against Iowa.

Just like our last home game, I feel for the folks sitting on the east side of the stadium today. With a 'feels like' temperature of 90 degrees and staring into a blinding sun all afternoon, I have a feeling many will leave early and the stands won't look too full during the 2nd half (like our opening game).
