Testifying
I think Saul is going to have a huge part with the end of this series. I don't know how, but I just feel like he's going to end up with everything.

Eventually things have to come to a boiling point and Walt is going to have to make a major choice between meth and his family and maybe even his own life. But I agree that it will have something to do with Walt Jr.

SPOILERS AHEAD

The flash-forward at the start of the episode was creepy awesome. I can't wait to see what that refers to, and if we'll get more flashes forward throughout the season or not.

I really enjoyed the rest of the episode. Walt's "Oh s***!" when he realized he had forgotten about the cameras proved that he's still human and his plan wasn't perfect. But we saw a number of examples in the episode showing that his ego is growing and I am thinking that will ultimately be his downfall.

The more I think about the episode, the more I go back to the opening flash-forward. Why has Walt assumed a false identity with a New Hampshire driver's license? His car has New Hampshire plates, too... did he actually move? Has he gone through the process he got from Saul near the end of Season 4 to relocate himself and disappear? If so, why? Where's his family? And what's up with the big-*** gun?

Can't wait for the rest of this ride.

Well remember he is turning 52 in the flash forward but that's still a few months off right?

In the pilot episode (Season 1 Episode 1) Skyler makes Walt breakfast for his 50th birthday and arranges the bacon into a "50". Pretty sure the flash forward scene is a reference to that.

Also, the fourth episode of this season is titled "Fifty-One," so I'm assuming that will be Walt's 51st birthday. So the flash-forward is still over a year ahead of where we are now, if my guess is accurate.

Yea I am trying to get my timing right because Skylar wasn't showing yet on his 50th birthday so that is at least 6 months of her being preggo...

Great episode tonight. I'm really interested in how much Hank actually knows.

Very good episode. Looking forward to see how it progresses. Skyler's character has become really awkward. I'm hoping she trips on some carpet and joins Ted in the hospital. Then Walt Jr. takes them both out.

Great episode last night...really looking forward to this season (not excited about waiting months and months for the last 8 episodes though).

SPOILER THEORY ALERT: I think Walt's cancer is back and he will die and that's how the series may end. From last season's checkup where he said something like "its only a matter of time until it comes back" to him coughing a lot in the flash forward from the season opener.

I think one possibility is at the end Hank actually helps or enables Walt and his family to get away or go into hiding. Hasn't Skylar been giving her sister a large amount of money to help them put? Walt could use that to guilt Hank into helping them or threaten to tell the feds that Hank knew he was taking drug money. Just a big guess.

I remember reading somewhere Aaron Paul said the ending will be huge and messy, or something along those lines, which would be great. I just don't want to wait another year for it to happen.

Walt's also the reason Hank will no longer be entering 5k's, so I'm not sure that Hank will have a lot of sympathy for him.

If Skyler ended up in a barrel of hydroflouric acid I wouldn't miss her too much.

I think Hank turns at some point in this season. Don't know why, I just see him breaking.

Did anyone catch the little preview for next week's episode where it appears that Marie confronts Walt? That could get interesting, and I think Marie's kleptomania is going to reappear in some form.

That would be awesome if Hank turns. I could definitely see that happening. If Hank figures it all out, he will know that he can't bust Walt. 1) Walt is family so he will have to think twice. And the main point 2) His boss just got fired because Gus was "right under his nose". So if Hank does find out Walt is Heisenberg, then he's either fired, has to turn a blind eye, or will have to break bad.

I'm wondering if Hank already knows. He said he took a peek at the laptop before the crew showed up, but it was encrypted. What if he actually saw the footage with Walt?
