The field is in embarrassingly bad shape. Not sure what the heck went wrong. We had a reputation for great turf management.
C-Dub is going to have one of the turf management guys on a podcast soon, looking forward to it.

Apparently dew late in the evening has contributed to the slick conditions. And all these night games aren't helping the issue.

I’m having so much fun watching UC players slipping on the turf. Meanwhile Noel had zero issues juking everyone.

For the record, I doubt will go 3 and out here. Feels like a turnover is much more likely

Impractical delusion marks our fan base. I love what’s going on and I’m here for it. I may also be a bit drunk. LFG

Classic first down run up the middle....it has to be like 80% of the time just absurd

So what is wrong with Dom Orange? Shoulder or what? Is he out again?

So since we just replaced the turf and went with the hybrid turf what is the next steps? Fake turf? Why is ours so bad?

Did Ames just get a splash of rain before the game? It’s almost worse when you get a quick little shower/downpour after watering all day.

They aren’t slipping on top of the grass. Guys are trying to cut and taking out massive divots. It’s like the grass has no roots.

I always feel the "award winning field" thing is overplayed due to so many schools, especially up north, switching to turf
Agree. It's always looked fabulous... but all I can remember is players constantly slipping on it year after year.

Although... Noel made a big cut there, and didn't slip or slide at all... so maybe Cincy just needs better cleats?
