ISU staff appears to identified Lewis early and he's now starting to get more attention. Hopefully it pays off.

@ny2lasports 2017 SF Terrence Lewis of Mil Riverside (WI) may be the most under recruited talent in the Midwest - has really worked hard & improved

And the staff must have seen all they needed to after seeing him in person last night...

@ChrisMWilliams RECRUITING: Iowa State offered Milwaukee prep Terrence Lewis last night. #Cyclones

I know this isn't a 2016 thread, but since its about recruiting, I thought I'd ask. Anyone know why we haven't been involved with Taureen Thompsen , an available 2106, 6'9" 4-star power forward from Brewster? I see Kansas has offerred now, too. Thought that was TJ's good buddy Jason Smith running Brewster? Idk, maybe that ship has sailed. But Lard seems less ranked and a qualifying long-shot, Solomon Young is only 6'6", and Malou is not a 'power' forward. Please tell me its not because a 4-star would prevent us from getting our foot in the door.

I have wondered the same thing when I saw he was playing at Brewsters

Probably because its a little early to offer a 2106 kid... 90 years before he will enroll ;-) sorry couldn't resist

If I had to guess he said, "not interested in coming to ISU thanks for the interest".
