Looks like a small ball four. Interesting prospect.

Based on his HS recruiting numbers he could play the "four" in a small ball lineup. However, with the focus on 3 point shooting at all levels of competitive basketball, he is now the classic three that college coaches drool over- an inside/outside player whose length can make him a defensive stopper against shorter wing shooters.

BTW if you scroll down and read a little on Bowen born. He will be a sophomore this year at Norwalk. His dad was Mike Born that played at Iowa State. Kid can light it up. Have to see how much more he grows. Kind of a Scott Christopherson type player.

No chance he's going to Colorado State.
I agree. Wonder if his dad and Larry are friends though and Larry has an "In" with him. Not saying he is going there but It would be interesting to know who his dad has approved as coaches and who he knows.

Given that Cam Payne is a "mentor" to Tyler, I hope that his dad trusts Cam's thoughts when it comes to coaches

He looks really in control in all the highlights I've seen... does a nice job of dictating the pace as a PG. Also seems to be a solid outside and mid range shooter. He's picked up quite a few high major offers this month according to his twitter page, @TheDuaneWash.
