Side note, I know people were making fun of Cade Thompson in the tyler Harris thread for tweeting at/about a recruit but CyCloneFanaticFan on twitter legitimately tweets at any recruit ISU has any remote interest in. Pretty sure if you have a rivals profile and can point out Iowa on a map, this dude will tweet at you about Iowa State

What the hell is the thought process going on in someones head that tells them "tweet at a high school kid I don't know about eating a corn dog"?

George Conditt (Chicago, IL) | Team RWA – Holding an Illinois offer coming into the week, Conditt was a main attraction at the Super 6 Showcase. With his motor and length at 6-foot-10, Conditt has a chance to be a dominant big man. He can defend the paint & rebound out of space filling the stat sheet with double-doubles easily. He even tabbed a triple double with 10 point 11 rebounds and 11 blocks on Saturday afternoon in session II. Conditt has recently picked up offers from Georgia Tech, VCU, Georgia State, and New Mexico after the Super 6 Showcase.

Iowa State and Illinois recruiting a lot of the same kids this year.

We will be competing with Underwood pretty regularly for the foreseeable future. Gotta get used to it, and it all starts with beating them out for some of those Illinois guys this class. if we could get 2 of Cunditt, Horton-Tucker, and Griffin that will be a nice little foothold in a good recruiting region. Way easier said than done, though.

underwood going to IL was a setback for our chicago recruiting strategy, IMHO. he's going to be tough to beat, especially since he hired two slimey recruiting dudes to help him navigate the chicago recruiting scene.

if he gets traction with those 3 guys and we don't it just makes our climb even steeper.

If we get two of those three, it won't be a "nice little foothold," rather that will be a major recruiting coupe!
