ISU plays Colorado in 33 days in Boulder.

Then again in Ames in February.

ISU could then theoretically play CU a 4th time in the Big XII tourney.

Even less likely, but hypothetically possible, ISU could play CU a 5th time in the NCAA tourney. lol
Saw someone tweet that they would not be able to meet in the tournament until at least the Elite Eight per NCAA rules since they will have played 3 times.

With UConn and Gonzaga dropping games to much lower-ranked teams, there's a real chance we move up to #3 here this week.

Kansas, Auburn (in either order), Iowa State looks about right.

i was just coming in to say that. doubt we earn any 1st place votes, but i'd say at minimum we're still a top 5 team come next week.

Marquette is going to be the the hardest game outside of playing Auburn and I feel much more confident about that game than I do playing in Carver.
Dix and Payton will probably go 13-16 from three.
Yeah, theres just always stupid stuff that goes on out there. The team two years ago looked completely lost out there, but this years Iowa State team is a lot better and Iowa is probably a little worse than 2 years ago.

Don't think that's gonna be an issue. :)

Our best team ever (Fizer/Tinsley) lost in Boulder.

Back then the combo of altitude and totally empty gym made it the weirdest game every year. I just expected to lose there every time.

I really think it was more the empty gym factor that led to all the disappointing losses.

We've had no problem with our lungs at BYU/Utah in both fb and bb.

We just went 2-1 in Maui with a blowout win, a solid win against a tournament team, and a last second loss against KenPom #1 and people want to second guess our highly successful coach about who the 9th man off the bench should be.

Never change, CF.
Guess I’m not seeing what you are seeing
