NO CHANCE. We were in even without this win.

GO CYCLONES!!!

I agree. I'm just saying there's so many people out there who change their tune all the time and I wouldn't be surprised to see it. Regardless, we are a lock I think unless some weird stuff happens in other conference tournaments.

After all of the crappy endings this year it feels so good to have that game swing our way

Babb just said on the post game that Lucious told Fred to leave him out of the game because of how well the team was flowwing. You got to love this team because its all about TEAM.

Agree, he actually wasn't playing that badly. He obviously didn't shoot well but had a 9:2 assist to turnover ratio.

Such an awesome win in so many ways... Any word on why Lucious was out for most of the 2nd half?
On the post game interview, Babb told Eric that Korie told the coaching staff to leave him out because the flow of the game at the time was better with Bubu.

For the first stinking time, I am reading on CF and Facebook about our guys advancing in the Big 12 Tournament. I am so stinking proud of these guys for getting it done.

I'm very proud of this team. For the last 2 years coming down the home stretch, all the experts had us on the bubble both years. Both teams responded in a HUGE way and got it done. AND, essentially, it was two completely different teams. That says a lot about our coach!!!

GO CYCLONES!!!

Almost seems fitting after such a drought in the Big 12 tourney, that our first win since '05 was such a gut check game. They just wouldn't let OU put 'em away and fought so hard those last 8 mins. Not the best win of the year, but it MAY be the most impressive if that makes sense. Didn't shoot well, struggled on the boards for a long time, but kept battling against a good team and got a great win. Very proud!

Folks; why do we have to sit Korie even if Fred wants Will at PG? Korie has better offense vs BuBu and is a slightly better FT % shooter. Wouldn't it still work with Will at PG and Korie at 2 ??

I didn't see this coming at all. We just seemed lackadaisical. Kudus to the guys for never giving up and to The Mayor for making some key adjustments.

Agreed, 3/4 through the game I was tempted just to turn it off, felt very much like the game @Tech where the intensity wasn't quite there. They didn't quit though and I'm impressed.

As is clearly documented in the game thread... at about 9 minutes I "officially" gave up, therefore relaxing and allowing ISU to start playing. I'll just go ahead and take the win with an assist by the Mayor and the players...
