Agree but this is also a product of us being slow. That guard just chased down the ball

Gilbert is easily our best player

He would be better if he downshifted from overdrive MOST of the time. His consistent frenetic pace gets him in trouble too often. He needs to pick his spots and then go nuts. Going nuts all the time just causes turnovers when there were none necessary.

I like his high gear. He just needs to learn to turn it on and off.

I’m glad this tournament is really good competition because if these boys were not getting stops, rebounds and turning it over in critical moments against bad teams I’d be even more concerned. Gotta clean up a lot.

I do appreciate that the refs didn’t call a backcourt violation with KG dribbling with the ball behind the line. Some of our usual refs don't understand that rule.
