Hyvee really does promote a lot of things....masters of marketing. I wonder if they will give Vilsack a cushy parachute job since he grew the SNAP program so much. Good for profits and lots of little obese kids running around. Well, moseying around, they are obese after all. I wish I knew the exact dollars on the Agriculture bill.....but I know most of it is not spent on farmers. Don't tell the obese kid generation it is unsustainable......shhhhhhhhh.

It looked like for the first time all season we were actually running offensive sets. Thought the team moved the ball around really well for the most part tonight.
Glad someone else saw the same game I did. I thought ball movement and post entry feeds were both much better yesterday. Both areas can still improve much more but, step in the right direction

Wait, Iowa's now a middle of the pack Big Ten team?

Which pack?

The pessimism here is ridiculous. You do realize we lost 2 of our 3 games by a point a piece and 1 of those was in ot? Before blasting this team, ask yourself if you'd be the same way if we beat a top ten team on a neutral floor or only had 2 losses, one to a top 10 team. If your answer is no, then ask yourself how that razor thin difference of 2 points makes such a big difference in your assessment.

Here nor there
The Fred obsession is out of control.
Apparently. If it wasn't for your obsession for Hoiberg you'd realize that my post has little to do with him. Get ahold of yourself.

This is the least talented team in awhile imo. I'd take a backcourt of DG, Scotty, and Jake Anderson over MM, Naz, and Thomas. JVB, Ejim, and Godfrey are not much different than what we're getting down low now. Coach Prohm has a significant challenge.

Will Iowa be a middle of the pack Big 10 team. Last years team was a lot better than this time and they were a middle of the pack team. This is about the time of season Fran's teams are at their best. Then the fall off come late Jan.

yes, think they will, minimum- as long as Jok stays healthy- you do remember they play Nebraska, Rutgers, Penn State, Illinois, Minnesota, Northwestern & Mich St. is no juggernaut this year either.

No, because then we'd have 2 strong non con wins. Instead we have to pray a young Miami team turns out alright and we need to pick up some big wins in conference play. Do people really not understand how big those games were? Those could be the difference between a couple seed lines, or even worse, the difference between being in or out.

We sadly have to hope Iowa turns around to have a really good season too. They lost plenty of games but from what I remember Omaha was the only 'bad' one.

And Drake probably truly believes that if one ISU player doesn't make everything he throws up, they kick our butts, which would be true.

That's part of the game. As you fan you want one player to get hot every game and lead your team to victory. The game plan should be get the ball to the player with the hot hand. ISU did that well last night. You can put it the other way also, Drake had players that played the game of their life last night, so it kept them in the game. You cannot play the game in a vacuum where every player plays to their average. Player get hot and cold, its part of why you never know what will happen.
