Talent wise its not even close as for coaching Hoiberg is too fresh to make a case.

More talent last year yet we have more close games against better teams this year?

This team does not beat KSU on the road last season.

That was their one game. Woopdie doooo. With the talent they had at the time they should have had more than that.

Ok, I agree we are out classed all the time, but we dont quit. That happend under Mcd all the time. So to say this is the worst team you have seen is wrong.

His 18 PPG and 8 rebounds.....and what does time elevating my opinion have to do with anything?

He was the best player on a crappy team. Point is both that team and this year's team are not good. If they played 10 times, each would win 5.

Not sure what point you are trying to make?

i guess i value a great post man on the team and mediocre surroundings than a good guard with mediocre surroundings....

You think we are better this year than last?

We are doing a hell of a lot more with less this year. Last year we had an NBA post player and a darn good guard. This year we have a excellent point guard coupled with freshman post players, a guard that is a great shooter but is somewhat injured, and a guard who is a warrior, but hasn't played at this level before. Last years team SHOULD have been better than this rag tag group we have.

These guys played well in the pre-conference season and are struggling now. Still only 4 blowouts---2 to potential top seeds, 1 to a team in the top 25, and 1 at a place where much better teams have been blown out.

I agree that a few games were close, but we played no one in the non conference and have 1 win in the league.

9 losses by 6 points or less, big understatement from you. No doubt last years team had more talent, also no doubt this team plays harder and has better coaching. This team plays it's tail off, but at the end of games, when talent and depth show through, we can't finish when we're outmatched in both categories.

If this year's team had grabbed even 3 of those games when they were there for the taking, this conversation might not even be taking place.

I didn't get a "chance" to watch the Texas game, so I probably sound uber-optimistic right now.
