This team IMO is much better defensive team than we've seen yet with CFH team. Add McKay and it's that much better. Monte, Naz, hogue and BDJ are all very good defensively. This team will go far with defensive play like that. Hogue is a complete freak.
The starters were impressive, particularly in the second half.
I am very glad I was wrong in that it would be a close game (I am sure we will get our fill of those soon enough).
Man, would I love to get a player like Hunter out of high school. Surround him with guys like Georges, Morris, BDJ, Naz, and Hogue? Sick.

Good luck to your team. You've got some good pieces, but GSU ran into a buzzsaw.
My 1 game armchair analysis on Georgia State is they're a pretty good team. They'll live and die with Hunter and to a lesser degree Harrow. But if you're going to depend on someone Hunter is a damn good one to pick.
I wish them good luck and I'll definitely be paying attention to them the rest of the season.
If Nader wants to be one, he can be a very good defender too. I am not sure he will, at least at first, but the potential is there. It is all about committing to defense as a team, as only two guys in the rotation should be below average defenders (Georges and Thomas). That does not even count athletic guys like Edozie off the bench that could come in just for defense.

Yeah let's hold off sucking each other off a bit...it's still not thanksgiving, good win, we are freaking loaded, but Gsu might still finish 8th in the big 12. Their zone was a joke. They will be pretty good in that conf by March, and this will turn out to be a decent rpi win
