Time for the fans that aren't fans to get of the CF forums and off the band wagon. CWilliams said the traffic was up over 100% when ISU was 14-0.... now I know why.

ISU is a good team that is struggling, in a tough conference. 2 losses on the road, and 1 loss to the TOP team (RPI) Kansas. Not time to press the panic button yet, unless you know nothing and need just need to get off the wagon.

IF you thought ISU would go 32-0, you were wrong. Time to reset expectations and stop worrying about the things you can not control or change.

This is a GOOD team, maybe not great, that has some things to figure out.

Do you think the DUKE fans are questioning Coach K right now? Do you think Kansas fans were trashing their team when they started slow?

When I say FANS I mean the people that really care and don't sign up for a forum and post threads with QUESTION MARKS AT THE END TO GET PEOPLE TO READ IT!! This isn't ESPN, you aren't getting paid for clicks.

I predicted an 8th place conference finish for this team before the season started. I was wavering after the BU game and thought we could finish maybe as high as 3rd in conference, but I think 6th place and a 10 seed in the tourney is about right for this team at this point. No reason to panic or quit on the team. The highs are usually not as high as they seem and the lows are usually not as low. We are a top 40 team, but not a top 20 team and it showed today on the road against a good team that's playing it's best basketball so far this year.

I'm not quitting but there are some serious issues to contend with. Aside from the Baylor game, every conference game has been underwhelming. Based upon the last 5 games they could easily be under 500 in conference. The 14-0 took a lot of grit and some good fortune and that's not enoug to win consistently in this league this year. Ill be in Ames next week yelling my head off and hoping like hell that I'm wrong about some major disappointment coming.

Anybody who didn't think we were highly overrated is an idiot. This is a very poor outside shooting team. Ironic since Hoiberg is our HC. Pretty sad when our designated center (Niang) is our best chance at making a 3pointer. You can laugh at me now but it's not going to be easy for these guys to make the tourney. K-St just might kick our *** at Hilton. They are well coached and are playing great.

Just sad seeing people shut the tv off and vow to quit after 17 games.
