Thanks for sharing all this good info. Currently talking it through with the wife, so we will see where we end up at. At first we were only looking at options near us Arlington area, but looks like we have enough time tô potentially explore some of those options in Dallas.

For Arlington we were considering Biscuit Bar (walking distance), First Watch, and Old West Café.
First watch is good, but it’s a nation wide brand. Personally, I’d try to find something more local.

Never been to Old West so can't comment. Haven't actually heard of it before but looks like it has good reviews. First watch is a chain so not local and it's on the healthierish side. Biscuit bar is pretty good but I don't remember if they serve alcohol if you're trying to lube yourself up before the game

Mavericks is full of Cyclone fans but also understaffed. Sigh. It’s like this everywhere we go. They don’t heed the warnings.

For the record, I told them I would bring at least 30 on my own, but expect 100. They called in extra staff.

Texas Live has been devastating for locals establishments. We made Christmas gifts possible for the staff families at Mavericks.

They were so impressed with our fans!

Sounds like it was an awesome evening for both ISU fans and Mavericks. Many yrs ago when the WBB team went to Cincinnati for the NCAA's that happened to a bar there they were hosting the pep rally, and got totally swamped. Way underestimated ISU fans willingness to support their team. Some friends and I had got there early for a booth and some food, a non ISU couple came in for a late lunch they were surprised that by the time their food came the bar was wall to wall Cyclones. Good memories. Sorry for the side track Cycsk.

Thank you for lining that up for everyone who was able to make the trip.
