He's on timeout for excessive douchebaggery
But whatever for.

I looked up the term. I'm not sure if I have this right. I believe it is, "an excessive application of a stream of water, often containing medicinal or cleansing agents, that is applied to a body part, in an irritating or contemptible manner."

That about it?

Pav is pretty crafty and has good court vision. Seems like he’s very comfortable in traffic
I absolutely love his game. I guarantee there will a time this season when he will be a big part of our success.
I like how cerebral and gritty he is
A cerebral crafty Pav! I like that. And Pav will definitely help us this year.

We will be glad we have him this year and for the next 2 years to come, hopefully.

213 Row 1. I'll be holding onto the kids so they don't go over the railing.

Fun game to take the kids to. Didn't have to watch the game closely... though it turns out I should have watched my kids a little closer. My 5 year old wandered off for a good 10 minutes. Had to get the ushers involved to track her down.

Still, had a great time.

Every team we play is bad (I admit this schedule is soft as Charmin, in the beginning) but anyone that follows ISU BB can tell this team has the potential to be very good.
We currently have the #1 defense nationally in terms of Points Allowed and Defensive Efficiency, which isn't that surprising given the last 2 years and who we've played - but we are also #4 nationally in Offensive Efficiency and #22 in Points Scored - despite still playing at a below average pace

Regardless of the competition, that's good

The poor kid needs to hit the weights or eat something. There is no way he weighs over 170 pounds, and that is the reason he hasn't and will continue not to get many minutes IMO.

The next 5 games are huge. All of them will be a big step up in competition!

This Thurs thru Sunday will be a road tournament. I hesitate to make any predictions as our level of competition so far is not close to what this will be. Fingers crossed!

Then we get a proper road game at DePaul. I believe Dec. 7 is a big game. I can't remember who we play, but that game will be pretty big.

Lock and load.

Terrence Lewis had one hell of a home coming! As usual, good for a couple made baskets, a couple head scratching turnovers, and watching the opposing team members dribble past him. I don't know if I haver ever seen such a combination of occasionally high ceiling athleticism and at the same time awkward clumsy movement. I wonder if he has flat feet or something. At any rate, hoping he can (finally) have a decent senior season. Will be pulling for Grambling to grab that SWAC auto bid come March.

It wasnt that long ago a TJ team struggled to beat Ark Pine Bluff, then lost to SDSU. I am okay with some confidence building blowouts early in the year
