Thought it might be easier to speculate in one thread instead of a bunch of them.

I am anxious for today, I hope Iowa State, but I could see UNC.

Any observations today from the moles in Ames, post them here please!!!

I dont think I have ever been this excited for ISU in a long time(well at least before the Nebraska game)

The one thing I keep clinging to in my mind is the fact he grew up a fan. It's really hard to go against the team you've rooted for your whole life.

And his family is here.....

And he hangs out with the team........

And our coach seems to be a father figure for him............(This is big for guys that grew up without a father.)



Why can't it be 3:00 yet?

I know right...

What sort of loser am I that I have actually been reduced to reading Duke Message boards? I shouldn't care.

It would appear that the one thing they cling to is the perceived "special" relationship that Coach K formed with Barnes? What is that about?

I think the big thing UNC has going for it, is the National Championship angle.

I don't think the others are in contention.

All I will predict is that this thread could be the longest in CF history when the day is done, besting even Tom Cruise and Plane on a Treadmill.
