I'm glad they didn't make it. I want this team to have a chip on it's shoulder all year. Beating UAB would have allowed for closure.

I would say it a bit differently, but I agree with the sentiment. Beating UAB in a regular season game is not payback for losing a big game and I do want the team to have that chip.

I was also an Illini/DePaul fan before I went to ISU, and this is the first time we will play Illinois since then. Glad to see the matchup.

I don't think this game will be easy with the back to back. I want this win so bad. If we can get past Illinois we have a good chance to go undefeated deep into December.
