I have a hard time judging the playcalling when the offensive line struggles so consistently. For example, the 4th down screen was there but our pulling offensive lineman didn't get in position to make the block to spring him. One player failing makes the playcall look horrible. We had numbers if that lineman executes properly.

You may say: "pass past the first down marker." However, our O-line hasn't been able to give our QB enough of a pocket to pass down the field consistently either.

The playcalling hasn't been the issue today. It has been the preperation and the mindset of the players. Sam and the RBs are playing tight and scared.

This is seriously my concern. That Lazzard will decide his talents will be wasted under this offense.
If he was my son I'd tell him to go somewhere else. There will be a change however so we'll have to see how that goes.

The play calling hasn't helped either. I still don't think they've realized that they can't run it up the middle.

Oh and for the love of god, get Wimberly more touches.

I wish him well at Oregon or ND, because he would be a fool to come play for this offense.

Our offense looks like they could care less about the game. Play some guys that want to make plays.

The most disappointing thing about the first half to me is Richardson's play. He has not been putting the ball anywhere near on target.

Offense problems could be playcalling for all I know, but the OL is not opening holes or protecting very well and Richardson is not putting the ball on target. That seems like the biggest problems to me.

I don't disagree that that our players haven't been making plays. The problem is ultimately that is the responsibility of the OC first and then the head coach, especially when the offense as a whole looks outright unprepared and uninspired.
