1. Would love Ksu in the tourney
2. Hope teams don't all shoot 90% in postseason from ft on us like they have all regular season

Spradlings 3 just floors me, he misses that and we win the game, and he freaking drills it. Our cold stretch from the line was awful, we didn't take advantage of their misses enough.

How are you so sure we win? It was a tie game. Heck...maybe KSU rebounds his miss. No guarantee either way.

Yep. We were in it....even playing bad.

Hougues 3 missed FTs in a row stunk too...lots of "blah" this game.

Move on...

Somewhere in the U.S.
The loss:

1) Didn't cover Southwell from 3 point line early
2) For Melvin to get a tech 2nd game in a row was stupid and poor leadership, which is unusual for him
3) Thomas and Long have got to get it together from outside. There is no consistency there at all.
4) Niang could not hit the broad side of a barn tonight.
5) ISU had 12 assists on 23 baskets, not close to their normal. That is not ISU MBB.

This team just does not play well consistently away from Hilton, and that is a concern going into the NCAA.

I hope they can do better at Baylor, but it will not be easy. Especially with a short turnaround and bad weather. Might be smarter just to head south to Dallas/Waco now instead of coming back to Iowa.

Kansas State wasn't going to let Niang beat them and Ejim and Kane can't score 80 by themselves.

once again ISU's FT defense was horrible today.

Guys like MT, and NL have got to start making open shots. Other guys have got to start making FTs. Not sure what DHs numbers were, but he let a lot of points on the floor today between missing layups and FTs.

22-6 then. Freaking gawd awful. We're losing the majority of our games and it's a trend due to leadership issues. The hardest part is its a road loss against a tournament team, who else does that? WHO ELSE DOES THAT?

You are trying too hard. pull back a little, understand where you are. Let it melt.

The fact that they were even in this game with everyone besides Kane and Ejim playing like absolute crap is pretty amazing.

Still feel great about the Baylor game on Tuesday, just wish it wasn't a must win for the 3 seed though.

How can you be so calm when we're obviously on the Bubble for the tourney again? I'd be surprised if they even let teams that lose to KSU on the road in to the tournament.

edit: okay I'm done now. Let it melt as you say.

I don't know why Fred doesn't address the easiest shot in the game. Guess we don't need them.

I just made 7 of 7 in my Nerf over the door basket. I'll coach.
