Yeah....we really needed this! We needed a reality check. We didn't have slow starts to both halves and crappy shooting most of the game agains OU, KU, Texas, Okie St. (can we call that lucky now?), or TCU.
I guess I just still do not understand the lack of bench use against TCU even....not only from a fatigue stand point but a motivational and morale stand point. I would say this even if we were only losing by 4, btw.

Our bench has sucked all of conference play. Naz Long is not very good, but he is still young. Sadly, he is the best option off the bench. Thomas is improving though. Glad Kane showed up for his family that made the trip tonight. WVU got into his head very quickly and he clearly is bothered by it.

You all criticized me for saying we are not top 25. When we are on we can beat anyone and win a NC. When we are off we lose by 30 and lack hustle. Top teams don't have swings like that.

We're still in the tourney but nights like this are why we need better conditioning. Also no more Monday road games.g

If you think about it, this result is not that surprising. Road game against a team with a much, much better backcourt than us, a frontline that can push Ejim and Georges around, and a coach that gets his guys to play tough physical defense. Plus we played poorly against TCU just two days earlier. Anyone thinking this was a "should" win was not paying attention.
